AUTHENTIC EMBROIDERY

Happy weekend! Its time to trade in your work pants for some comfortable jeans, I've been living in this pair from Gap since I got them! This season has been huge on embroidery and flower prints on everything to bomber jackets, bags, shoes to denim. We can blame Gucci for their fabulous embroidery, floral touches and old fashioned style and I'm not complaining. I now want all my jeans to have embroidery on them since they released their pre-fall collection. We cant all afford Gucci, but Gap definitely satisfied by crave for them! Shop here

GOLDEN AUTUMN

I've been loving mustard yellow lately in sweaters, dresses, bags and really everything that it comes in. Just when I thought it was getting cooler and summer was officially over, we get 80 degree weather in October! This dress has short sleeves which is perfect for the warmer fall days and I paired it with this lightweight kimono and felt hat to tie the look together.

OFF SHOULDER AFFAIR

As we get into September and with fall quickly approaching, I wanted to style an outfit that would transition into the new season. Off shoulder tops and dresses will still be big in the fall just as it was in S/S '16. The shade of this top perfectly ties into fall while still being light weight for the warmer days. It has been my go to top in summer and I'm sure it will still have a strong presence in my wardrobe this season! As Fashion Week begins I'll continue reporting about different trends and looks we can all try this fall!

FALL 2016 VISION BOARD

With fall quickly approaching and stores already bringing coats and sweaters I wanted to create a vision board to inspire your fall wardrobe. There are so many trends and colors you can rock this fall, I wanted an easy way to visually represent what everyone will be wearing this upcoming season. Every designer showed something different during A/W Fashion Week while still incorporating fall trends we know and love. The choker will still be huge in fall as well as earth tones but we will see more hues like pinks and greens that we usually wouldn't see this season.

AUTUMN MONOCHROME

Its safe to say that summer is over and the fall season is in full swing! I am so excited for the fall, its definitely my favorite season of the year. Not only because of pumpkin spice drinks and the cooler weather but also for Fashion month which is now ending in Paris. Admiring all the designs and styles for the upcoming year and getting to see what everyone is wearing and who's seating front row in the shows is always exciting. Although the shows are for S/S 2016 and unrelated to the fall, the way everyone is dressed gives inspiration to what we can incorporate to our own wardrobes. This is a look I've been loving this season and this coat will definitely be a staple in my wardrobe this fall.

Colors of Summer

Temperatures are increasing, plants are greener, people are louder and this is all because Summer is finally here! Its the second day of summer and I was realizing that fashion is becoming more exotic and fun. I've been seeing vibrant colors such as different shades of red, orange and blues. Red is very feminine and gives you the right amount of "hey look at me!" But it can be worn to be casual or play it up a bit to go out at night. The different citrus oranges and deep coral tones gives you that burst and freshness that looks great in the summer time and can make you feel bright and unexpected. Blue is a color that is always seen in the summer because it reminds us of the ocean and the aqua waters of far away islands. Its a relaxing and refreshing color that is a staple to my summer closet. Tones of blues are being seen everywhere from maxi skirts to eye shadows and even to wedges and sandals. I love playing with colors and seeing how I can incorporate these colors into my wardrobe this season. Give these colors a try this season and see how many compliments you'll get when you step out of your comfort zone and make this summer exotic!
