AUTHENTIC EMBROIDERY

Happy weekend! Its time to trade in your work pants for some comfortable jeans, I've been living in this pair from Gap since I got them! This season has been huge on embroidery and flower prints on everything to bomber jackets, bags, shoes to denim. We can blame Gucci for their fabulous embroidery, floral touches and old fashioned style and I'm not complaining. I now want all my jeans to have embroidery on them since they released their pre-fall collection. We cant all afford Gucci, but Gap definitely satisfied by crave for them! Shop here

GOLDEN AUTUMN

I've been loving mustard yellow lately in sweaters, dresses, bags and really everything that it comes in. Just when I thought it was getting cooler and summer was officially over, we get 80 degree weather in October! This dress has short sleeves which is perfect for the warmer fall days and I paired it with this lightweight kimono and felt hat to tie the look together.

FALL 2016 VISION BOARD

With fall quickly approaching and stores already bringing coats and sweaters I wanted to create a vision board to inspire your fall wardrobe. There are so many trends and colors you can rock this fall, I wanted an easy way to visually represent what everyone will be wearing this upcoming season. Every designer showed something different during A/W Fashion Week while still incorporating fall trends we know and love. The choker will still be huge in fall as well as earth tones but we will see more hues like pinks and greens that we usually wouldn't see this season.

SUMMER 16

With summer coming to a close, I had to end it right by spending a day at Virginia Beach. It was my first time at this beach and besides it getting really crowded, its a great beach with lots of surrounding places. Walking along the boardwalk you can find cute shops and restaurants while looking out to the ocean.

BIRTHDAY BOTANCIAL GARDEN OOTD

To begin my birthday celebration, I joined my dad for breakfast at Ted's Bulletin at the Mosaic District. I chose the french toast with sides of hash brown and eggs, which was amazing! It was my first time eating here and can't wait to go back to try more of their food! They play classic television shows like I Love Lucy and old-fashioned songs which gives the place a timeless feel. After breakfast we headed to D.C to visit the US Botanical Garden!

DESK INSPO

Having a clean and organized workspace is something I need to make sure that I am focused and dedicated to my work and studies. One of the things that keep me motivated is having an inspiration board and this can be made on any kind of canvas with images and words that inspire your future and things that you love. I have left spaces empty so I can add pieces as I find them or when I have new ideas. I also like having fashion material and magazines on my desk for outfit ideas or to read when I need a couple minutes to take a break from what ever I may be doing. I try to surround myself with positive messages and it helps me stay on task and on top of what I need to accomplish that day. Hope you find some inspiration from this post!
