Vegan Brownies

Good morning! My sister and I tried out this vegan brownie recipe as we are both going vegan for a while. Its healthier than the regular brownie and just as easy to make. You can add any type of nuts, coconut shreds or pair with your favorite fruit, in this recipe we used walnuts.
Recipe:
2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
1 cup cane sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened 100% cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking powder
handful of walnuts
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 cup water
1 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Pour in water, vegetable oil and vanilla; mix until well blended. Spread evenly in a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until the top is no longer shiny. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares.

VEGAN PANCAKES & CURRENT BOOK

Good morning! I've recently started a 2 month vegan diet and finding the healthiest options takes a lot of trial and error! Today I tried out making pancakes out of flour, almond milk, vanilla and baking soda which I topped with fruit, granola and honey. It turned out to be really good, you wouldn't even guess they were vegan!
I am currently reading Tanya Burr's new book: Love, Tanya. Its about her life as a child, a makeup artist and Youtuber with tips and advice about all things beauty, fashion and happiness related.

Green Smoothie

This is a simple healthy green smoothie recipe which takes a few minutes and tastes delicious!  Its  great for breakfast, before or after a workout and great for the summer season. Its sweet and the fruit masks the taste of the green veggies but still gives you the nutrients of the kale and spinach.

1 tsp. of  chia seeds and 1 tsp. of flaxseed
Frozen Strawberries
1/2 cup kale
1 banana
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup spinach

                                                                                     Enjoy!

Homemade Granola

This morning I decided I wanted to make some healthy banana granola. I had learned this recipe from +beautycrush! It was so easy to make and tastes delicious! Granola can be paired with so many things like yogurt, waffles, or pancakes. I modified the recipe with ingredients I had on hand. The ingredients I used were:
 1 ripe banana
2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
1 packet of flax seed oats
1 packet of maple&brown oats
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp organic brown sugar
1 tsp peanut butter
2 tsp almond oil
1 tsp olive oil
pinch of salt

After cooling I put into this cute little mason jar.
I used the granola in my Greek yogurt this morning with mixed berries, cinnamon and a drizzle of honey:)

Yogurt and Chai Tea(Celestial Teas)

Preheat oven to 350 °f. I put the banana in the oven so it could soften and mashed it with all my wet ingredients in a large bowl and then added the dry ingredients. You may want to add the oats as you go and mix until almost dry. After mixing put it onto a large baking tray and spread the mixture around. After about 10 minutes or until granola is golden brown flip it so the bottom side can cook. Leave it in for another 10 minutes, let it cool and enjoy!
